MISD is a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) district.
District policy is posted on the MISD website on the Parents tab @ http://www.midlandisd.net/Page/26850.
Students are encouraged to bring their devices for learning. We will be doing a lot of work online. Students will be expected to use proper internet etiquette and be engaged in the lesson. If their device distracts from educational learning, alternative means of learning will be provided and phones will be placed in a secure location in the classroom until the end of the period. Students will need to follow campus and classroom procedures regarding the use of devices: green, yellow, red.
